During our Emergency First Aid Training, participants will learn the critical skills needed to respond effectively to medical emergencies at work, home, or in the community. This one-day course provides hands-on training and expert guidance on essential first aid practices. Course content includes:

• Preparing for Emergencies: Understand how to assess situations, prioritize actions, and confidently provide care during emergencies.

• Recognizing Mental Health Emergencies: Learn how to identify and respond to mental health crises with sensitivity and support.

• CPR and AED Use: Master lifesaving CPR techniques and the operation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for adults, children, and infants.

• Bleeding and Burn Management: Gain the skills to control bleeding, treat burns, and prevent further injury.

• Breathing and Circulation Emergencies: Learn to respond to choking, shock, and other life-threatening emergencies involving breathing or circulation.

• First Aid for Respiratory and Cardiac Arrest: Practice critical interventions to provide care during respiratory and cardiac arrest.

• Wound Care: Understand proper techniques for cleaning, dressing, and caring for wounds to promote healing and prevent infection.

This course meets Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and provides a three-year certification upon completion. Perfect for both workplace and personal use, it equips participants with the confidence and skills to act quickly and effectively in any emergency.
